31 Days of Tricks & Treats: Blogging Here & There

Today starts Sweetest Whimsy's 31 Days of Tricks & Treats, my own personal challenge to post a TRICK or TREAT for you every day in October!  I will either post here, on The Sweet Spot blog, or here, the Paper Dolls blog. 

Check both sites daily for a little trick-or-treating throughout October.  Who knows what you'll find?  I know I don't!

When I teach my cake decorating classes or bake at home, I wear an apron.  When I don my apron, my mind goes into cake decorator mode.  Everything else is secondary. Chocolate Just For You

Both times, I gave each student a copy of my favorite chocolate buttercream frosting recipe, one that I use on my cakes when people request chocolate frosting. (Unfortunately, chocolate frosting is rarely asked for compared to vanilla buttercream.) When I started the blog, I promised recipes and tips, in addition to product information and random anecdotes, so here is Sweetest Whimsy’s Favorite Chocolate Frosting Recipe, just for you: Ingredients: * 3 cups sifted powdered sugar, divided * 2/3 cup baking cocoa (ie.
